ground rules
Welcome to Thirst, where community matters.
We created Thirst as a place for you to bring your best self. Here, you can grow, learn and build your community. While our communities are independently run, we have some ground rules to help Thirst stay safe and open for you and for everyone.
Each community makes their own rules.
Community moderators are the pillars of every Thirst community. We trust them to make their own rules and lead their communities in a way that best supports their members.
However, our Ground Rules always come first. When conflict is escalated to the Thirst team, we will prioritize the spirit and letter of Thirst Ground Rules.
Respect yourself and others.
There are so many places on the internet where you can be a jerk. Thirst isn’t one of them. Thirst is where you bring your best self. Here, we are supportive of one another, act in good faith and are open to others.
If you disagree with someone, don’t do ad hominem attacks. If you want to get angry and argue, do it somewhere else. Or better yet, step away from the phone and take a walk.
Keep yourself and others safe.
We consider it a community responsibility to keep ourselves and others safe. If you see someone being harmed, harassed, or abused, report that conduct to a community leader or to Thirst.
If you notice that someone is being unsafe, privately contact community leaders to flag it with them. If the behavior continues and community leaders aren’t addressing it, report them to Thirst.
fwb has a zero tolerance policy for unsafe behavior. If someone is being hurt, we act immediately. If it’s not clear that the behavior is harmful (a.k.a. grey area), we give the benefit of the doubt.
If users are engaging in patterns of harmful behavior, we will ban them from Thirst. If a user has been repeatedly reported or banned from multiple communities, we may also ban them from Thirst.
Don’t pretend to be someone you are not.
Trust is the foundation of our communities. Don’t catfish, and obviously, do not impersonate private citizens. That’s just not cool.
Don’t steal other people’s work.
Don’t share stuff you didn’t create without attribution and never take credit for something you didn’t make.
Thirst welcomes creators and artists, and we believe they deserve credit for what they’ve produced. We’ve made it easy for you to attribute the original artist by linking to their Thirst account, website or social account. If you don’t know who that is, say so.
If you are knowingly or repeatedly stealing content without permission or credit, we’ll kick you out.
Selling is mostly ok.
You can sell goods and services on the Thirst platform, but it’s up to community leaders to decide whether it’s allowed and/or appropriate for the community.
That being said, Thirst is not a store. The safest way to buy and sell on Thirst is by linking to your e-commerce store, OnlyFans or PayPal account. We are not responsible for issues that arise from sales on Thirst. Ensure that you are following your payment processor rules and guidelines.
Do not sell anything you do not own or have permission to sell.
Do not bring your multi-level marketing (MLM) pitch to fwb. MLMs are not welcome at fwb and MLM salespeople will be banned.
Do not sell nudity or pornography on Thirst. If you want to sell explicitly sexual content, link to your fan account (as long as your community allows it!)
Don’t spam anyone.
Be respectful. Don’t post comments on other creators’ pages promoting your own page.
Don’t send a large number of unsolicited private messages asking for support. Do not use bots or other forms of fake engagement.
Each community has its own rules about spamming. If a community leader is spamming using their community leader privileges, you can report them to fwb.
Thirst is for people who are older than 18.
We take the safety of children very seriously. Content containing images or likeness of children will be removed, and the members posting it will be banned.
Thirst is not a place for photos or photorealistic images of genitals.
Do not share pictures or photorealistic content of genitals! We have no problem with your genitals, but the App Stores do. We ask that you limit sharing images of nipples and light nudity to communities on Thirst that welcome sexual images and nudity. Please correctly mark your images with the correct content tags.
